AXARQUIA ANIMAL RESCUE

Torre Del Mar, España

Founded in April 2011, Axarquia Animal Rescue (AAR) has spent over 15 years serving as a vital lifeline for abused and abandoned dogs in the Axarquia region of Malaga, Spain. As a fully registered Spanish and non profit charity (charity number: 10567), AAR operates entirely through a dedicated network of volunteers. We receive no government funding and rely solely on public donations, community support and our charity shop in Torre del Mar. Since we started, we have rehomed just under 5,500 animal within Spain, UK and Europe. We don't have a shelter and our dogs are placed with loving foster families whilst we find the best forever homes for them. We also sometimes use small local kennels in emergency cases. Everyone is dedicated to finding the very best homes for the dogs in our care.
