Se alegra mucho cuando recibe la visita de voluntarios para salir a pasear y disfruta de la compañía de su compañera Johanna, con quien convive muy bien. Cuando León coge confianza, es un perro que disfruta estar cerca de ti, ser peinado y acariciado. Pasea bien con la correa y no es reactivo con otros perros. León tiene carácter en ciertos momentos, por lo que necesita una persona con experiencia en perros de este tipo y que sepa poner autoridad y limites en casa.
