Privacy policy
Adoptia processes the data needed to manage profiles for adopters, foster homes, volunteers and shelters, adoption applications and requests for help.
A family's profile data will only be shared with shelters to which that person sends an application. The private details of people running rescue organisations are not displayed publicly. We do not sell personal data.
Urgent warnings may include telephone, location and audiovisual material. This information is limited to the coordination of the case and the content should be reviewed before any public dissemination.

El registro de usuarios y el historial de bloqueos son privados y solo accesibles a la administración de Adoptia. Cada decisión registra el motivo, la fecha y la persona que la revisó. Account activity
When you use Adoptia while signed in, we store the date of your latest activity and the last time you used it as an app from your home screen. This record does not store a history of pages, clicks, typed text, location or new device identifiers. Only administrators can consult it to help with using Adoptia and setting up emergency alerts.
After 180 days without activity, we stop displaying this data and delete it during the next automatic cleanup. To check notifications, administrators consult the status of linked subscriptions in OneSignal using the internal identifier already in use. This does not confirm that the app is still installed or that a notification is delivered or read.
Map privacy
El mapa usa OpenStreetMap para la cartografía y unpkg para cargar Leaflet. Estos servicios reciben datos técnicos de conexión, como la dirección IP, y OpenStreetMap recibe las solicitudes de las zonas del mapa que visualizas. No les enviamos nombres, teléfonos ni chats. Las coordenadas de tu dispositivo se consultan únicamente cuando pulsas «Usar mi ubicación actual» y aceptas el permiso; el cálculo se realiza en tu navegador y no cambia la ubicación guardada en tu perfil.

Only when you click a search do we send Google the service type, municipality and province. We do not send the case description, contacts, chats or exact coordinates. Google receives technical visit data and applies its own privacy policy.

Las notificaciones push son opcionales y se gestionan con OneSignal. Al activarlas, el servicio trata el identificador de suscripción y datos técnicos del navegador necesarios para prestar el servicio. Las cuentas conectadas de particulares y protectoras se vinculan mediante un identificador interno, no mediante su email.
The SDK does not send names, phone numbers, email addresses or private messages. You can disable push notifications in your panel; this does not automatically delete data already stored by OneSignal. Contact Adoptia to request deletion.
OneSignal privacy policyAdoptia is in its pilot phase. Before the full service opens in multiple countries, this policy and all data processing will be reviewed with specialist legal advice.
